AHI’s EASE Program, Partners Help Individuals Access Addiction and Mental Health Care Services

AHI’s Enrollment Assistance Services and Education (EASE) program has joined forces with Behavioral Health Services North and Citizen Advocates on an initiative to help individuals access addiction and mental health care services. The Community Health Access to Addiction and Mental Healthcare Project (CHAMP) serves Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Hamilton, Saratoga, St. Lawrence, Warren, and Washington counties.

“With the support of our partner agencies, BHSN, and Citizen Advocates, we provide assistance to individuals with access-to-care challenges,” explained Joyce Porter, EASE Manager, AHI. “CHAMP can help people know their insurance rights, fight insurance denials, challenge insurance barriers and discrimination, learn about options for low-cost care, and more.”

Anyone in need of addiction or mental health care assistance can call the CHAMP helpline at 888.614.5400 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
