Program Information
ARHN is a program of AHI supported by the New York State Department of Health, Office of Health Systems Management, Division of Health Facility Planning, Charles D. Cook Office of Rural Health. The main purpose of ARHN is to provide education and training to further the NYS Prevention Agenda.
ARHN has a variety of Resources:
Resources for Supporting LGBTQ+ Wellbeing – Beginning in 2020, this website is focused on educating our region on the best ways to support our LGBTQ+ community, including providing trainings and modules, as well as youth, adult, organizational, and legal resources.
Regional Resources for Accessing Fresh Food in the Adirondacks – Our food access website is a combination of the ARHN food access resources and the former Adirondack Food System Network (AFSN) story maps. These resources are more focused towards individuals who are experiencing food insecurity.
Grant Writing Resources – This website contains a five-module course for partners to use when looking to apply for new grants, as well as several additional grant writing resources.
ARHN Researched Funding Opportunities – This website contains a list of local, regional, and NYS funders as well as research focused and national funding opportunities. This is not an exhaustive list.
Regional Community Health Reports, Assessments, and Plans – ARHN facilitates the Community Health Assessment (CHA) Committee and as part of our scope of work with the committee, we share the links to their plans and assessments on our website. We also offer individual county infographic pages to assist them and other partners in providing a demographic overview of their counties within ARHN.
Other Resources – ARHN offers a variety of other resources on topics such as trauma and vicarious trauma, professional wellness and data analysis.
