Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP)

From 2019 to 2024, AHI led the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP), a federally funded initiative aimed at strengthening local capacity to address substance use disorder (SUD), expand prevention and treatment services, and improve long-term recovery support across the North Country.

Program Information

From 2019 to 2024, AHI led the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP), a federally funded initiative aimed at strengthening local capacity to address substance use disorder (SUD), expand prevention and treatment services, and improve long-term recovery support across the North Country. Through the dedication of our regional partners, the program supported critical initiatives, including workforce development, harm reduction strategies, and improved care coordination for individuals and families affected by SUD.

While the RCORP grant has ended, many of the resources, partnerships, and strategies developed during the program continue to benefit our communities. Below, you’ll find tools, reports, and other materials created through this initiative that remain available for use. AHI remains committed to supporting efforts that enhance access to care and recovery services in the region.

"Hope of Recovery" Documentary

Hope of Recovery highlights first-person stories to affirm that recovery is a process of change through which people improve their health and wellness in a self-directed way. Substance use disorder affects not only the person who is battling the disease, but family and friends alike. Every pathway is different. Every story is unique. All empowered by hope.

We thank our partners at Alliance for Positive Health, Champlain Valley Family Center, and St. Joseph’s Addiction Treatment & Recovery for their participation.
This documentary was directed and produced by Jordan Craig Media LLC and funded by the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Grant of Adirondack Health Institute.
