Learn more about evaluation and efficient ways of processing and determining the value of grants.

Program evaluation is complicated, and let’s face it, oftentimes comes at a cost for which we’re just not prepared to pay. This informational webinar will address why due diligence with regard to detailing the program description is a program manager’s primary tool for creating evaluations that meet the four common standards of: utility, feasibility, priority, and accuracy. Program participants will be introduced to the components of a good program description, common pitfalls, and a framework for integrating these skills into their grant management strategies.

Presenter Bio: Ms. FitzGerald is responsible for leading a number of evaluation projects by working with AHI programs, colleagues, and partner organizations to design, develop, and implement process and outcome evaluations. She identifies, analyzes, synthesizes and presents data to identify needs, measure performance and drive decision-making. Ms. FitzGerald earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Syracuse University, a Master of Science degree in Education from SUNY Potsdam, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Health Programs and Policy from the University at Albany School of Public Health.
