Focus on the Adirondack region’s demographics, health needs, and trends
(AHI) hosted seven students from the University of Costa Rica for a presentation on April 22. The University at Albany School of Public Health arranged the AHI visit and the presentation focused on the Adirondack region’s demographics, health needs, and trends. The information enabled the undergrad and graduate students to draw comparisons to their own health care system. After a question and answer session, Hudson Headwater’s Dr. Bachmann escorted the students to the Warrensburg and Schroon Lake Health Centers for a tour and discussion about primary care.
