For the second consecutive quarter, the NY State Department of Health (NYSDOH) has awarded the AHI PPS a 100% Achievement Value (AV) Score. This score applies to the quarter ending December 31, 2015. The AHI PPS is a partnership of nearly 100 organizations formed to plan for and manage Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) health care restructuring in the northern New York/Adirondack region.
“Successive perfect scorecards is a true achievement and representative of the commitment of AHI PPS partners,” said VP of Health System Transformation Colleen Florio, Ph.D. “These dedicated groups and individuals have implemented new practices, attended trainings and community forums, and served on committees to help drive health care transformation in the North Country.”
AV Scorecard Background
The AHI PPS achieves payments form the NYSDOH on a performance basis. The funds are paid to our PPS upon demonstration of meeting reporting and performance objectives. Achievement Values (AV) are based on completion of important milestones in the organization’s implementation plan. Each of the 25 PPSs in New York can earn a defined number of achievement values. The AV Scorecard is an indication of how many Achievement Values the PPS has earned as compared to the number available. The AHI PPS has once again earned all the available AVs, which equals a 100% scorecard, which puts the AHI PPS on track to earn the full DSRIP year-one value of $28 million.
