The Adirondack Health Institute (AHI) would like to announce that our Plattsburgh office, located on 65 Court Street, will be closing at the end of January 2014. As of February 1, 2014, our Enrollment Specialists will continue to be available by phone at 1-866-872-3740 to service clients in the area. This new process will allow us to schedule all appointments with our Enrollment Specialists in advance, as well as inform the client of any information they will need to bring to the appointment. We have found this process to be helpful in making the meeting as successful as possible.
Our Enrollment Specialists offer assistance to individuals, families and small business owners who wish to enroll in Medicaid, Child Health Plus and any of the Qualified Health Plans through New York State of Health (NYOH), the official health plan Marketplace. Our Enrollment Specialists are located in community-based sites serving clients throughout Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga counties. They are available to assist with the enrollment process as well as provide help with navigating the NYSOH website. Please refer clients seeking assistance to us at 1-866-872-3740, and we will work with them to schedule a one-on-one, in-person appointment.
AHI’s Education and Outreach program is still available for training sessions on the New York State of Health Marketplace. Our Education and Outreach Specialists ensure that community leaders, organizations and businesses are fully prepared to assist consumers on the new online marketplace, whether it is connecting them to an Enrollment Specialist or providing the resources needed to enroll. If you would like to schedule a training session or receive outreach materials, please contact Jill Rock at 518-641-9618.
Please share this communication with co-workers and clients who may need our assistance. Thank you for continuing to partner with us as we work to reduce the number of uninsured in our area. If you have any questions regarding this communication, please contact Joyce Porter at 518-761-0300, extension 31502.
