Due to the financial and infrastructure concerns, the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) advocated for the Capital Restructuring Finance Program (CRFP) with the Department of Health (DOH).
The DOH subsequently released the CRFP request for applications (RFA). The RFA is to be coordinated and submitted with the DSRIP application due in December. (Note the RFA deadline has been extended to February 20, 2015).
According to HANYS, “the CRFP fills the capital funding void in DSRIP and will be a good start in supporting the capital needs of our members in the provision of essential services and the transformation of the health care system.”
