The AHI PPS Community Advisory Council is intended to provide a voice for individuals in the communities we serve, in particular those who are Medicaid members or who are uninsured, in the development and implementation of DSRIP and other population health initiatives. Community member insight and feedback is essential to creating effective strategies to address barriers to accessing care, improve health outcomes, and improve quality of care provided in our region. The Community Advisory Council will also nominate members to serve on the AHI PPS Community and Beneficiary Engagement Committee.
The first meeting of the Council in our northern coverage region will take place:
Dinner and refreshments will be provided. Meetings are organized and facilitated by AHI staff, who will work directly with participants to resolve barriers to attendance, such as lack of transportation or child care.
