To begin work toward Project 4.b.ii, Increase Access to High-Quality Chronic Disease Preventative Care and Management in both Clinical and Community Settings, a series of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) trainings have been scheduled. The trainings will include an overview of COPD and a review of the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disorder (GOLD) standards. Diagnosis, management, COPD prevention and an introduction to an evidence-based screening tool and spirometry testing will be discussed.
