Implementing School-Based Telemental Health in New York: Best Practices, Challenges, and Successes

The North Country Telehealth Partnership hosts a series of educational webinars focused on telehealth and telemedicine. The first webinar in this series, Implementing School-Based Telemental Health in New York: Best Practices, Challenges, and Successes will be held 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, October 29.

The State Education Department and the State Office of Mental Health increasingly encourage school districts and local mental health systems to partner to ensure that children with mental health needs have improved access to services and telehealth can be another tool in the toolkit in providing that access.

Join us as we hear from Comprehensive Medicine as they share best practices, experiences, and challenges associated with developing school-based telehealth programs across New York State. Lisa Pappa, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Comprehensive Medicine, will present on the process of implementing telemental health in a school setting.
