The National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program is accepting applications until April 28. Announced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the purpose of the program is to provide scholarships to students pursuing eligible primary care health professions training in return for a commitment to provide primary health services in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).

Physicians
Nurse practitioners
Physician assistants
Dentists
Certified nurse midwives
- Applications for the 2016 NURSE Corps Scholarship Program Now Accepted
The NURSE Corps Scholarship Program is accepting applications until May 5. Announced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the purpose of the program is to provide scholarships to nursing students in exchange for a minimum two-year full-time service commitment (or part-time equivalent), at an eligible health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses.
The program is open to nursing students enrolled in a diploma, associate, baccalaureate, or graduate nursing program, including RN to BSN, RN to MSN-NP, or direct entry MSN-NP.
