The Children’s Health Insurance Connection (CHIC) works with community organizations providing education on health insurance options and how to apply for health insurance on line. Since June 1, 2012, the CHIC team has:
-Conducted 90 Workflow Integration Presentations
-Trained 476 service providers in the utilization of the on line screening tool found on http://www.chicapp.org/ to connect the uninsured to Adirondack Health Institute’s Enrollment Services
-Participated in 55 community tabling events providing screening opportunities
-Established 120 Community Partnerships including 29 School districts.
